DESCRIPTION OF ACTIVITIES

SLSA, Inc. provides the youth of the community with an opportunity to participate in a travel soccer program at a reasonable cost where boys and girls between the ages of 6 and 19 are taught the game of soccer in an environment which emphasizes a fun experience, making friends, setting individual and team goals, and learning the value of hard work.

SLSA, Inc. enrolls the teams in leagues and tournaments during the fall, winter, and spring seasons. Immediately following the spring season, SLSA, Inc. has a picnic for the children participating in its travel soccer program. In the summer, SLSA, Inc. provides the community with a 15 hour soccer clinic for children between the ages of 4 and 14. The clinic is available to players who participate in SLSA, Inc.’s travel soccer program and to players coming from other soccer clubs/teams or unaffiliated players.

It should be noted that SLSA, Inc.’s major objective is too keep the cost of playing travel soccer well below other travel soccer clubs in an effort to attract children from families who can not pay more. In addition, fees will be lowered or eliminated entirely for families who can justify hardship. The fees charged cover the following.
